
We are looking for more boys that are interested in playing middle school (6th-8th grade) basketball. We would like to have 2 middle school teams. They practice tomorrow from 1pm-3pm (which will be the normal practice time). The season will be done prior to holiday break. JOE FURLAN of BLOOMINGDALE High School CROSS COUNTRY is the WSJM Sports Van Buren/Cass Student Athlete of the Week for the week of OCTOBER 11, 2020.
For the week, Joe won the individual Southwest 10 Championship, marking back-to-back undefeated conference seasons. He then placed second at the Charger Mini-Meet with a time of 17:01. He is also a member of the track team and is a volunteer firefighter for the Columbis Township Fire Dept. In the classroom, he carries a 3.5 grade point average.

The boys and girls cross country teams won their pre-regional races this morning and advanced to the regional meet next Saturday. Joe Furlan was individual champion of the boys race and Aimee Sustaita was champion of the girls race. Also finishing in the top 20 were Jaden Barnes, Joe Stocchiero, David Garcia and Trace Wixom in the boys race. Kallie Harrison, Zee Dickerson, Addison Miller, and Abby Krall weāre in the top 20 in the girls race. Congratulations runners and good luck next week!

MS soccer practice will be in the middle school gym today (10/23) from 1:30-3:30.

Please come out to support our Bloomingdale Cardinal Volleyball teams at Lake Arvesta this Saturday, as well as next Friday and Saturday. We challenge you to let them scare you for days to come, at Lake Arvesta's Haunted Trail.
The haunted trail starts at dark and is located at Arvesta Sports Complex, 05264 CR 687 in South Haven.

Middle School Boys Basketball starts on Monday 10/26. This includes 7th and 8th grade boys.They will practice from 1pm-3pm. If your student plans on attending they must go to the link below to register on Final Forms. Your athlete must have a physical dated between 4/15/19 and now. If dated prior to 4/15/20 you will have to fill out the Health Questionnaire available on Final Forms. If dated after 4/14/20 you do not have to fill out the Health Questionnaire, just the physical is fine. Masks must be worn at all times, and please bring your own water to practice.
