Today, we were informed of a potential outside threat in the Bloomingdale area. Out of an abundance of caution, all Bloomingdale schools were placed in a soft lockdown. Classes continued as normal; however, students were not allowed outside during the soft lockdown to limit any potential outside threat. Our SRO along with additional deputies patrolled the area. Once the all-clear was given the soft locked-down was lifted. At no time were students or staff in any danger. Student and staff safety is a top priority at Bloomingdale Public Schools.

On May 2nd, voters will be asked to approve the District's Operating Millage this Non-Homestead millage has ZERO tax impact on primary residence. The millage to be collected applies only to businesses, commercial property, vacation homes, and rental homes. Cardinal Chase Fundraiser begins today!
After reviewing the snow day surveys, all make-up snow days will be added to the end of the school year. Therefore, we will have our Spring Break as previously scheduled March 31-April 10. At this time, plan for students to be in school through June 7th providing there are no more additional snow days.
