We are pleased to welcome Mrs. Beckah Chartier and Mrs. Jen Bloomfield back to the Bloomingdale team as interim co-principals for the remainder of the 2025–26 school year.
Both leaders bring extensive experience and deep roots in the Bloomingdale community. Each began her career in Bloomingdale Elementary classrooms before moving into administrative leadership roles within the district. Mrs. Bloomfield previously served as Principal of Bloomingdale Elementary and most recently worked as a Teacher Consultant, continuing her dedication to student growth and instructional support. Mrs. Chartier served as Assistant Principal at Bloomingdale Middle/High School after beginning her career as an art teacher, and later concluded her administrative career in Paw Paw before returning to Bloomingdale.
With more than 25 years of experience each, Mrs. Bloomfield and Mrs. Chartier share a strong belief in the power of relationships, consistency, and creating a nurturing environment where all students can thrive. They are excited to return to Bloomingdale—a place they both consider home—and are committed to supporting a positive and productive finish to the school year.
At Bloomingdale Elementary, we believe strong partnerships among students, staff, and families are the foundation for success. Together, we will continue to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and support every child’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
Thank you for being part of the Bloomingdale Elementary community. We look forward to a strong finish to the school year and continued learning and growth for all students.
