senior lunch

Bloomingdale Public Schools recently hosted a Senior Citizens’ Luncheon, welcoming 18 local seniors for an afternoon of good food, connection, and entertainment.

Guests were treated to a complimentary meal while enjoying time together and catching up with members of the community. The event also featured a special preview from the high school drama club, who performed a teaser of their spring productions, The Cast List and The Day the Internet Died. Both shows were later performed in full for the public on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18.

Superintendent Reo also shared a brief district update, keeping attendees informed and engaged with what’s happening across Bloomingdale Public Schools.

The luncheon continues to be a meaningful way to connect generations and celebrate the strong sense of community that makes Bloomingdale special. We look forward to welcoming our senior guests again at the next luncheon, planned for September. Additional details will be shared once they are finalized.
