Bloomingdale Public Schools would like to extend a sincere thank you to Midwest Energy & Communications for awarding our Maker Space Woodshop program a Strengthening Schools Grant.
Funding from this grant allowed the program to purchase a complete Festool Domino joiner system, an advanced woodworking tool that helps create strong, precise joints in wood projects. This new equipment will expand opportunities for students to participate in hands-on, project-based learning within the Maker Space.
The addition of the Festool Domino system will support students as they design, build, and refine real-world woodworking projects while developing valuable skills such as problem-solving, craftsmanship, and creative thinking.
We are incredibly grateful to Midwest Energy & Communications for investing in our students and helping us continue to grow innovative learning opportunities at Bloomingdale Public Schools. Their support ensures that our Maker Space Woodshop program can continue equipping students with the tools and experiences that will benefit them for years to come.
