Good Morning staff, students, and families at Pullman Elementary This is Mrs. Corona, and here are your morning announcements… Today is Tuesday, 11/21/2023 Today is Red & White Day Come out and support our middle school students playing a basketball game vs. Fennville here at Pullman Elementary on Tuesday, 11/21 at 6 pm. The cost is $5 per adult and $3 for students. There will be a concession stand open. Wear your Cardinal gear and come out and support our middle school students. We should all be working on setting a SMART goal. Setting goals is important for us to have a focus on what we are trying to accomplish...kind of like a target. Just like with our PRIDE points…our goal this year is to collect over 140,000 PRIDE Points. We have kicked off a fundraiser a week or so ago. The Fundraiser will run until 11/27 with all orders and money turned in no later than 11/29. You can sell two different ways. You can create an online account using the code on the flyer or you can use the order forms that were distributed yesterday. The proceeds of the fundraiser will go toward fun activities. Today is our last day of school this week. We will be off Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for Thanksgiving break. Remember, when you aren’t at school you miss out…Don’t forget our attendance and PRIDE point challenge is on…the grade with the highest attendance percentage and the grade with the most PRIDE points gets ice cream treats at the end of the month… make sure your grade wins!!! Please remember that we do go outside every day unless it is raining. Be sure that you are wearing a coat and ready to be outside. If you have lost a coat or jacket, be sure to check the hall across from the office. Several coats have been lost hanging there. I am looking forward to it! Today is also popcorn Friday. Teachers, please get your popcorn envelope to the office as soon as possible so we know how many bags to make. Setting goals are important for us to have a focus on what we are trying to accomplish. Just like with our PRIDE points…our goal this year is to collect over 140,000 PRIDE Points. It’s so hard to believe that we are already at the end of our 1st marking period. Monday will start the 2nd marking period. Today is Popcorn Friday. Teachers, please send up your popcorn envelopes so we know how much popcorn to make. Our Halloween parade will begin at 9:30. Students will be able to trick or treat around the school. There will be about 5 stops along the way. Then students will go back to their classrooms to have their party. I hope that everyone enjoys themselves today.
