SUMMER SCHOOL The dates for Session 1 for summer school are 6/14 - 7/9. The dates for Session 2 for summer school are 7/12 -8/6. If you have filled out the transportation form and requested transportation, you will be receiving a card in the mail this week indicating your pick-up and drop-off times. If you are self-transporting, please prepare to drop off your students at the front entrance of both elementary schools. The doors open at 8:00. There will be adults ready for your students. If your student is more than 15 minutes late or you need to pick your student up early, please call the office of your student's school. Please pick up your student at 12:00 if you are self-transporting. Mask wearing will be optional for staff and students. We will see you next week!

MEET UP and EAT UP Beginning June 14 through August 6, Bloomingdale Public Schools will be offering meal pickup Monday - Friday. Meal pickup is from 10:30am-11:00am each day and include one breakfast and one lunch for each child. Pick up locations are the Middle School entrance of Bloomingdale Middle and High School and by the food service delivery doors at Pullman Elementary. No meal pickup is offered on July 2 or July 5. Child does not need to be present.

Your VanBuren-Cass District Health Department has scheduled FREE in office Hearing & Vision Screening clinics for Preschool and Kindergarten.

There will be a SPECIAL Board meeting on Thursday, May 27 at 7:00 pm in the high school auditorium.

Bloomingdale Public Schools is planning for the 2021-2022 school year in many ways. One way is by hiring teachers. Check out the Employment Opportunities page on the district website for all the details.

Bloomingdale Public Schools Board of Education selected the following finalists to participate for a second round of interviews for Superintendent of Schools: April 29, 2021 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Deanna Dobbins, Elementary Principal, Glenpool Public Schools, Oklahoma 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Lucas Trierweiler, High School Principal/Special Education, Director, Delton-Kellogg Schools, Michigan 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM William Dygert, Elementary Principal, Bloomingdale Public Schools, Michigan Interviews will be held on April 29, beginning at 6 PM in the High School Auditorium. Community members, district staff and interested parties are encouraged to attend the interviews.

The Superintendent interviews will be live streamed through youtube. Search Bloomingdale Superintendent Interviews on youtube to watch. You will also be able to provide feedback through a link found on the District’s website. This link will be available until the end of the interviews on Thursday. Interviews begin at 6pm on Wednesday and 6pm on Thursday in the High School Auditorium.
