Bloomingdale Public Schools is pleased to share an update on our partnership with Western Michigan University (WMU) through the federally funded GEAR UP grant.
WMU has now posted several key positions needed to launch and manage the GEAR UP program across all participating districts, including Bloomingdale.
We are sharing these opportunities with the Bloomingdale Schools community in case local community members with backgrounds in the field of education are interested in applying.
Currently posted GEAR UP positions through Western Michigan University include:
Director â 1 position
Assistant Director â 1 position
Administrative Assistant II â 1 position
Building Coordinator â 4 positions
(assigned to specific partner schools, including Bloomingdale)
These positions will support the regional GEAR UP initiative designed to expand academic supports, college and career readiness, and long-term success for middle and high school students.
